teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician.
Infants: 0.33
ml/kg body weight daily or as recommended by the physician.
Ionic interaction with foodstuff
components (phytates, oxalates, tannin, etc.) and concomitant administrations
of medicaments (tetracyclines, antacids) is improbable because Iron is complex
bound.
It is not recommended for people who have
a known hypersensitivity to any of the product's constituents.
This syrup is easily accepted by most
people. Oral Iron preparations may cause nausea, vomiting, constipation, or
diarrhoea, among other side effects.
Recommended in pregnancy & lactation
In cases where there is a risk of Iron
overload, such as hemochromatosis, thalassemia, hemosiderosis, or hemolytic
anemia, caution is advised.
